Child Life Program |
St. John's Child Life Program Specialists help prepare children and their families for hospitalization,
surgery, and other procedures by using a variety of educational, medical, and distraction tools. These tools
allow children to express their feelings to help ease some of the anxiety associated with the "hospital experience."
These specialists also provide support to children during procedures that may be potentially stressful and painful.
